Return Policy


We want you to love what you ordered, but if something isn’t right, let us know.  We will make every effort to make it right with you. All merchandise must be in its original condition/packaging. You will receive a credit for your purchase only if it meets the criteria above. Any shipping fees associated with making returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is damaged or defective, or you received the wrong item. 

Returns Policy

 All returned goods are subject to a 20% restocking fee for items over $60, and 50% for items under $60. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). Defender and Seamark fabric covers and replacement covers other than Hewitt are not returnable.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

All return credits will be issued by check.


We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Customer is responsible for all brokerage fees on shipments going outside the USA.

Returns Form

Please complete the information below for ALL returns and warranty claims. Once we receive the form we will provide you with a return merchandise authorization (RMA). Any item returned without a RMA number will be disposed of and NO credit/replacement will be issued.

  • Returns generally not accepted-subject to approval
  • All returned items are subject to inspection and approval by authorized Boatlifter personnel
  • All items must be returned before any credit/replacement is issued
  • Only current and like new items will be accepted for credit/replacement.  Damaged or worn items will be disposed of and NO credit/replacement will be issued
  • NO credit/replacement will be issued for improperly packaged items damaged in transit
  • All returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee for items over $60, and 50% restocking fee for items $60 and less.
  • Canopy Covers: Peak roof, wakeboard, 138" wide, yellow vinyl, Defender, Seamark and replacement covers are subject to a 50% restocking fee
  • Returned items from Canada returned on a truck are subject to a $300 brokerage fee
  • No returns accepted on any wood, electrical, discontinued products, used or weathered items; except when warranty applies
  • No returns accepted on special made or special order items
  • Returns can only be made within 120 days of purchase
